Tuesday Talks – How I couldn’t run away from my problems – Motivational Post
I know quite a few of you have hit me up saying, I haven’t been as active, this month and the main reason for that is I was dealing with some personal issues and had to face that first, before moving on to anything else and I thought to touch on the importance of facing your problems head on, and dealing with them away from the world.
I have kept problems inside of me, from 5 years ago +, without properly dealing with them and now in 2017 they were becoming issues, Why?
Because I just plastered them up, and brushed it under the carpet, and went along with life and now the carpet is so full, that no one can no longer stand on it. My busy lifestyle allowed me to keep brushing things under the carpet and shrugging things off but I knew, they would be a time where I would have to empty out all that junk and boy was it a journey. See now the issue with letting things build up is that now, old news becomes new news – which is never EVER, good.
Most people will never take the time out to do something about their problems. And you know what happens when you don’t solve your problems?
THEY WILL NEVER GO AWAY.
I actually meet people who pretend they have a perfect life all the time and now social media literally gives us the power to share the pieces of our lives that we see fit for the Internet. In other worlds, it allows us to create this facade and this idealistic world that we want but in hindsight, its all FAKE.
The world wants you to create this facade. The world wants you, not to show your emotions and not let anyone know that you’re sad or angry. You see it all the time with memes. The world doesn’t want you to deal with your problems. The world just wants you to pretend they don’t exist.
Let the world know that, you’re 100 and right now you’re pissed off!!!!!
Your allowed to feel the way you feel because you are human and once you remove those things, you had inside you, you become a better person and you’ve set yourself free.
I believe that the people that are truly free in life have let go of the pain and the anger from the past and have channeled it into something positive and have channeled it into something beautiful.
You see people that literally, have it all in the world – money, wealth, health, beauty but still not happy –
Wealthy people are high on the suicide list and you think, why?
They had it all? Because they don’t deal with their problems, and they let it build up and build up and then their problem from years back, comes back to haunt them.
because money don’t buy happiness
money can’t save you
money can’t have fixed pain
social media can’t fix it
only you can do that,
For people without, money from the outside looking in, being able to have and afford a lot of stuff seems nice but
The best example I can think of is:
Have you ever eaten too much of something and gotten sick of it.
Or, have you ever done something so often it now bores you (such as playing too much of a game)?
Well, when you have money, and can afford to spend all day shopping and getting stuff… at the end of the day it’s still stuff. It starts to look like junk. You only have so much time to spend with that stuff, or shop for more.
Eventually people get bored with having stuff, too.
Materialistic possessions can be nice and helpful to have, but they do not help you deal with the real things in life.
Yeah, but I…”
But, what? There’s always a but.
Look, I’m not saying to shout at the top of your lungs that you’re going through problems or post on socials about your problems. What I’m saying is, FACE YOUR PROBLEMS, DON’T FACEBOOK THEM or hide behind facebook from them or twitter or whatever social media that you use. Bebo, myspace, whatever.
Face your problems
that means you’ve got to take the time out of your life to do that
you got to make time for it –
I took a detox from social media and that helped me a lot –
sometimes a good detox from social media will serve you good. Try that and just focus on dealing with your own problems.
“But mez, how do I make my problems go away, I don’t know how too”
If you want to make your problems go away, you have to do something different. You have to try a different way. Change your mindset. Shift your thinking.
Otherwise, you always think you’re helpless. Because if you already knew how to solve your problems, you probably already did. But the truth is that you didn’t. So it starts with admitting that you have a problem that you can’t solve.
Difficult, isn’t it? But it doesn’t mean you can NEVER solve your problems. It just requires some extra effort.
I like what Albert Einstein said about solving our problems:
“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”
If you have a problem, do something, because something is better than nothing. And yet, most people do nothing. Don’t be “most people.” Be bigger than that.
Because that’s what’s required of you:
the more you brush it
the more it becomes a problem
Be bigger than your problem.
